Unlike traditional facilities that rely on tiered or point-based pricing, our all-inclusive care rate is based on a personalized assessment to ensure your loved one receives exactly the support they need—no more, no less.

Our Medicaid policy is that a resident has to be private paying for three years before converting.

At Serenity, meals are more than just nutrition—they’re moments to connect and feel at home. We serve fresh salads, fruits, smoothies, adequate hydration, home-cooked meals that are both balanced and delicious, shared together in a welcoming, family-style dining space.

We understand that every resident is unique, which is why we accommodate medically prescribed diets like low-sodium or diabetic-friendly options. Our menus rotate weekly and are tailored to individual health needs and personal preferences.

We also take pride in honoring religious and cultural traditions, offering familiar dishes that bring comfort and joy. Mealtime is one of our favorite ways to care for the whole person—body, mind, and soul.

At Serenity, medication management is handled with precision and care. Our team ensures all residents’ prescriptions are filled accurately by maintaining direct communication with their primary care providers, home health professionals, and pharmacy.

We partner with Mercury Pharmacy Services, a long-term care pharmacy that packages medications in secure, easy-to-administer bubble packs—a proven method to reduce errors. This service is covered by insurance, with no added fees beyond co-pays.

Our caregivers are well trained, delegated, and experienced in administering medications. All supplements and vitamins require a doctor’s order for safe and consistent use. We do not use pill organizers or med sets, as our process (Synkwise Electronic System) ensures a higher standard of care.

On-Site Medical Services
Our home-based model includes access to essential medical services:

• A routine doctor visits every other month, with telehealth support in between.
• Podiatrist care for foot health, provided in-home and covered by most insurance.
• Mobile diagnostics include lab work, urine/stool collection, and in-home X-rays.
• Urgent care services via Dispatch Health for prompt non-emergency medical support.
• Referrals and care coordination with local home health providers, speech therapy, physical therapy, and hospice care teams.

Open-Door Policy with Respect for Residents' Routines
At Serenity, we believe in keeping families close. Our doors are always open, and we encourage visits from loved ones. To support our residents’ routines, we suggest visiting between 9 AM and 6 PM, as most residents begin resting by early evening.

If visits are needed outside of those hours, simply let us know in advance so we can accommodate with care and consideration.

For residents receiving hospice or end-of-life care, we invite families to remain by their side—day or night—to share precious time, offer comfort, and create lasting memories in a peaceful and supportive environment.

Pet Policy
To ensure the safety and well-being of all residents, we do not allow pets to live in the home. Many of our residents require full-time care and may not be able to care for animals. That said, we warmly encourage families to bring pets for visits—as they can provide a wonderful boost of joy and connection during family time.

Non-Smoking Policy
For the health and well-being of all residents and staff, At Serenity maintains a strict non-smoking policy. Smoking and similar alternatives are not allowed anywhere on the property, helping us provide a clean, safe, and wellness-centered environment

Limitations of Our Care Services
At Serenity, we are committed to quality care within a safe and supportive environment. However, the following services are not part of our care offering:

• We assist with scheduling medical appointments but do not provide transportation.
• Detox services for drugs or alcohol.
• One-on-one dedicated staff sitting.
• Care for individuals with active suicidal or homicidal behaviors.
